Job Description
The Senior Field Educator serves as a lead expert for clinical and operational program content and initiatives across functional groups within the MinuteClinic organization, such as new hire orientation, Electronic Health Record (EHR) training, preceptor development and professional education. This role provides oversight of scheduling, delivery and evaluation of new hire orientation/ on-boarding and fellowship programs. The Senior Educator creates strong virtual relationships with key stakeholders across functional and enterprise units, including field leadership, to deliver results consistent with departmental goals and priorities while executing against safety, quality, cost, patient satisfaction, operations and employee relations. In collaboration with Education Director, the Senior Educator establishes overall goals for training and education and then partners with senior and local management to develop strategic education goals for field teams and provider, while collaborating with the MinuteClinic Recruiting team to support strategic college initiatives and student preceptorships.

Required Qualifications
  • Current board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
  • Current active, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a FNP or a PA
  • 5 years work experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or a Physician Assistant
  • 2 years experience managing teams

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Preferred Qualifications
  • Academic faculty experience preferred
  • Experience with clinic operations

  • Masters degree in Nursing, or Physician Assistant Studies
